Bundaberg South State School

Bundaberg South State School has much to offer its students. Bundaberg South has an excellent primary program from prep to year six. Our dedicated staff ensures that children are given every opportunity to develop academic skills, enhance social skills, experience cultural performances and participate in activities that will improve physical development.

Bundaberg South is an open friendly school where parents are actively encouraged to play a vital role in daily school life. By assisting with our reading program, joining with classes on excursions and for performances or by working through the Parents’ and Citizens’ association, vital links between home and school are established.

Bundaberg South State School has a clear vision of providing excellent education in the primary years. Our school community agrees that we are striving for a school which is safe for all its members; where our students develop a sense of belonging and pride in themselves and have access to worthwhile learning opportunities. Our three basic rules of be responsible, show respect and stay safe underpin our positive behaviour for learning program linked to our school mascot “Bluey”.
